Kenyan President Ruto Visits India; Cementing India-Africa Relations

Ruto’s Inaugural Visit:  William Ruto, the president of the East-African country, Kenya is on his first-ever visit to India. He was welcomed in New Delhi’s Rashtriypati Bhawan on 4 December 23. On a three-day visit, he is accompanied by high officials delegations. 

Aim of the visit

The Indian president, Draupadi Murmu will be hosting the Kenyan president at a glorious state banquet along with the high-level official delegations accompanying him. He also enjoyed a cultural performance, held in honor to welcome him.  

In the list of agendas for Ruto’s visit, bilateral talks with the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi top.    

The Kenyan President is all praises for the expected friendly ties with the Indian state. He also extended his gratitude to PM Modi for crystallizing the position of the African Union in the G20.   

The visit is expected to be monumental in strengthening the ties between India and Africa.
