KKK Win: Kolkata Knight Riders’s momentous victory has been plastered on every media page. The team led by Shreyas Iyer lifted the Indian Premier League 2024 trophy on 26 May 2024. The victorious moment was made extra special by the presence of the team owner Shahrukh Khan on the field. The team’s win is indeed a result of the cricketer’s hard work but many off-the-field players also played significant roles in ensuring their team and players could put their best foot forward, and one such man is Mr. Venky Mysore, the CEO of Kolkata Knight Riders.

Born in the serene Mysore of Karnataka, as a kid Venky was passionate about cricket. His interests and skills even got him too close to making his way into the Ranji Trophy, but destiny had other plans for him. His father was not thrilled about his passion for cricket and to honor his choice he abided by his wish. With his unfulfilled aim to be a cricketer someday, Venky went to a business school to pursue his Master’s in Business Administration. He completed his MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Madras where he also returned to the field as a student of the university. Little did he know that one day he would be managing a cricket team.

He has also been a director at Birla Sun Life Insurance Company Limited.
In 2010, Venky joined KKK leaving his coveted post at MetLife and since then there has been no turning point for him. The post joined him back again to his dream of playing a role in the most loved sport of the country, cricket.
Venky’s net worth is around INR 14 crore as per the media reports. KKR has a net worth of $1.1 billion and revenue was $41.2 as per Forbes.
