Sana Raees Khan is an Indian criminal lawyer who practises in the Bombay High Court and the Supreme Court of India. Sana Raees Khan was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra on September 28th. She received her LL.M. from the University of Mumbai in 2019. There is nothing known about her family.

Indrani Mukerjea, the primary accused in the Sheena Bora murder case, was defended by Sana Raees Khan in 2015, and she was allegedly granted bail after six years. In 2021, Sana Raees Khan represented Avin Sahu, one of the co-accused with Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, who was arrested for alleged drug case. She claimed in court that neither Avin nor Aryan had any drugs on them when they were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). This argument was vital in obtaining bail for her client, and it was eventually utilised by Aryan’s defence team as well. The successful defence of Avin Sahu by Sana Raees Khan demonstrated her talent and expertise as a criminal defence lawyer.

Sana Raees Khan Bigg Boss 17 Controversy

Faizan Ansari, a social media influencer, filed a Rs. 10 crore defamation complaint against Sana in October 2023. Ansari stated in the lawsuit that Sana represented Avin Sahu in the drug case, but she exploited Aryan’s name to gain media attention. According to some reports, Faizan accused Sana of being a fraudster, but as he was unable to get legal representation, he brought the situation to the notice of the Mumbai Police Commissioner.

Sana Khan is currently participating in the ongoing Bigg Boss 17 season, which has resulted in a complaint being filed against her with the Bar Council of India. On 17 October 2023, Ashutosh J. Dubey, an advocate at the Bombay High Court, filed the case, calling her participation a severe matter of professional misconduct.
