Koffee With Karan 8: Zeenat Aman on her biopic, Instagram; Neetu Kapoor reminiscing heartful moments with Chintu Ji

Koffee With Karan:  The veteran actresses Neetu Kapoor and Zeenat Aman in conversation with the Koffee host, Karan Johar gave the viewers a wholesome tie. Zeenat Aman talked about discovering Instagram as a place of self-expression, and Neetu Kapoor reminisced about the good time she got to spend with her late husband Rishi Kapoor. 

Final Year with Rishi Ji was Neetu Kapoor’s best time 

The actress discussed the time when the family was going through Rishi Kapoor’s treatment for cancer together in New York. New York ended up being the best year she and her family spent with the late actor. Sharing insights on Chintu Ji’s nature, she revealed that he was always at a safe distance from his children and her. He was a loving person who struggled to express that love explicitly which consequentially made him lose a lot with his children. However, in his final years, the distance grew shorter and he ‘opened up and … showed love’ and they had the best time together. 

Zeenat Aman discovering Instagram 

Zeenat Aman has been making a storm on the image and video-sharing platform since early February 2023. Sharing her experience on the gram, Satyam Shivam Sundaram actress told an anecdote about her young children introducing her to Instagram. Her thoughts about the gram are wondrous. She called it a ‘wonderful platform if used correctly.’ Remarking on the empowering nature of the platform she noted it provides a space to express yourself authentically, not dictated by a third or fourth-person’s definition of self.’ 

PC for Biopic & Deepika for ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’

In the rapid-fire with Karan Johar, Aman named Priyanka Chopra as the actor to be cast in her biopic, if and when that happens. In her belief, PC is ideal to portray her character in her biopic, and suggested Deepika Padukone for her iconic character Rupa from ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’.

Neetu Kapoor on Alia, Ranbir & Raha

Karan asked a rapid marriage advice for Ranbir and Alia to which she replied there was no advice, but just to stay happy. 

She also gave some peep into life as a grandmother to little Raha, Ranbir, and Alia. She engages in little battles with Alia and her mother for the first words of the baby.
