Kriti Sanon Announces Her Production House, Check Out Other Bollywood Divas That Turned Producers

Bollywood Actress Kriti Sanon has recently announced her Production House named ‘Blue Butterfly Films’ with sister Nupur Sanon. Additionally, the ‘Adipurush’ actress also announced the first film under her production house. Kriti is reuniting with her ‘Dilwale’ co-star Kajol for her first film under ‘Blue Butterfly Films’. The movie, “Do Patti,” will air on Netflix and was produced in collaboration with Kathha Pictures, the new production company founded by author Kanika Dhillon.

Global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas founded Purple Pebble Pictures in 2015 with the purpose of promoting regional cinema. Priyanka has since then produced critically praised films such as ‘Ventilator’ (2016), which received three National Film Awards, and ‘Pahuna: The Little Visitors’ (2017), a beautiful narrative about two Sikkim siblings. 

Anushka Sharma- Clean Slate Filmz

‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ actress Anushka Sharma co-founded Clean Slate Filmz with her brother Karnesh Sharma in 2014. ‘NH10’ (2015), a riveting thriller that gained critical praise, and ‘Pari’ (2018), a supernatural horror film that displayed Anushka’s versatility as an actor, are two of the significant films produced under Clean Slate Filmz. 

Deepika Padukone- KA Productions

Deepika Padukone, a renowned actress in Bollywood, founded KA Productions in 2020. While her production company is still in its early stages, Deepika has already earned a name for herself as a producer with the film ‘Chhapaak’ (2020), a moving drama based on the true story of an acid attack victim. 

Madhuri Dixit-Nene- RNM Moving Pictures

Madhuri Dixit-Nene has launched her own film production firm, RNM Moving Pictures. Madhuri produced the Marathi film ‘15 August’ (2019), a touching story set in a Mumbai chawl, with the goal of creating entertaining and engaging material. 

Alia Bhatt- Eternal Sunshine Productions

Alia Bhatt, Bollywood’s “Gangubai,” took to her Instagram to announce her production house Eternal Sunshine Productions. Alia hopes to engage with renowned filmmakers and present unique stories to the audience through this new production firm. ‘Darlings’, a Netflix black comedy, was Alia Bhatt’s first joint production with SRK and Gauri Khan Red Chillies Entertainment.
