Kuwait Fire Accident Updates: The death toll from the massive fire that broke out in a Kuwait building surpassed 49, including 40 Indians. More than 50 people have suffered burns. PM Modi has expressed his condolences over the Kuwait accident and announced a Rs 2 lakh compensation for each of the families who lost their lives.
Health Update of Injured
According to a statement from the Indian Foreign Ministry, the Indian Embassy is in contact with Kuwaiti officials. People injured in the fire have been taken to five government hospitals in Kuwait including Aden, Jaber, Farwaniya, Mubarak Al Kabir, and Jahra Hospital.
