Lunar Eclipse 2025: The Lunar Eclipse or Chandra Grahan will fall on the occasion of Holi, i.e., on 14 March this year however, its ‘sutak kaal’ will not be effective in India, so India can celebrate Holi without any worries. However, there are some rules that should be followed during the time of the Lunar eclipse, especially by pregnant women. Here is a list of do’s and don’ts to be followed during Chandra Grahan.
- Pregnant women should keep a ‘Shrifal’ with them during the eclipse and submerge it in the flowing water.
- Pregnant women should apply ‘geru’ on their bellies to protect the child from the negative energies of the eclipse.
- They should chant God Vishnu's or Shiva's mantras along with the ‘Gayatri Mantra’ and ‘Mahamritunjya mantra’.
- Do not touch the statues of gods or goddesses.
- Do not use any sharp objects during the eclipse.
- Avoid going to the cremation grounds or any negative energy place.
