Mahindra has launched the electric SUV XUV400 in India. The company has launched two variants XUV 400 EC and XUV 400 EL. Interestingly, this electric car is based on the company's compact SUV XUV300. Mahindra XUV400 electric SUV will compete with cars like Tata Nexon EV in the Indian market. Let’s take a look at their specifications.
Two battery pack options are available for the Mahindra XUV400, with the EC and EL variants offering a 34.5kWh unit and the EL variant a 39.4kWh unit. The typical output of these batteries is 150 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque. A 3.3kW charger for the XUV400 EV can charge the battery from 0% to 100% in 13 hours, while a 7.2kW charger can charge the battery from 0% to 100% in 6.5 hours. The MIDC-certified ranges for the EL and EC models are 456 km and 375 km, respectively.
A seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, drive modes, an electric sunroof, BlueSense linked car technology, six airbags, and a reverse parking camera with directions are included in the model's interiors. The six colours that are available for the XUV400, which provides seats for five people, are Arctic Blue, Everest White, Galaxy Grey, Napoli Black, Infinity Blue, and Infinity Blue with Satin Copper roof.
