Latest in K-Pop:  In KPOP history, fans saw an unusual and extraordinary surprise when it was revealed that MAMAMOO’s Hwasa had signed contract with P-Nation. Hwasa made an unexpected appearance during PSY’s SUMMER SWAG 2023 performance in Seoul on June 30. The iconic signing moment was made official amid numerous rumours that the star will sign an exclusive deal with P NATION following her departure from RBW Entertainment due to contract termination.

Hwasa Appearance In PSY’s Concert

In the middle of his concert, PSY announced the declaration of Hwasa joining P Nation. As the continued, a table was abruptly brought onto the stage and PSY immediately apologised to the fans for the sudden disturbance that had occurred during the performance. Then, Hwasa made a spectacular entry onto the stage, looking surreal as he went on to inform fans about the little concert break since an important contract needed to be signed. 

Hwasa entered the stage looking surreal in a black lace top and green snakeskin trousers, signed her contract live, kissed it, and then gave a powerful and exhilarating performance of her hit song ‘Maria’. After that, she continued to sing a medley of MAMAMOO songs. Fans all over the world were filled with happiness as they know how P Nation has always given freedom and independence to its artists, like Jessi. Fans are surely satisfied after witnessing the on-stage chemistry of Hwasa and PSY, that Hwasa is in good hands and her career would soar under P NATION.

Is Hwasa Leaving MAMAMOO?

As the news of Hwasa officially joining P Nation following the historic contract deal made in the midst of Summer Swag 2023 concert came into light, fans were concerned about her relations and group activites with MAMAMOO members. To this, P Nation welcomed the star while reassuring fans that Hwasa will receive the necessary assistance and care, both in her personal life and as an Idol. 

In an official statement, Pnation assured their continuous support for Hwasa’s ambitions, both as a solo artist and an integral part of MAMAMOO. They asserted, “We will wholeheartedly back Hwasa’s future pursuits and strive to facilitate her interactions with fans as a MAMAMOO member.” The members of MAMAMOO have been emphasising on continuing to deliver some activities to fans during their World Tour, “My:Con” movie documentary, and on their 9th anniversary, and P Nation’s reassurance only serves to support that message. The members lately are giving hints of another big potential world tour as well.

Fans Flooded Twitter

As soon as Hwasa’s contract signing was made official, it caused a flurry of enthusiasm among fans. Twitter was flooded with congratulatory posts and the way Hwasa entered and shined at the concert. Fans are positively encouraged to show their support and love for her new journey with P Nation.
