Set against the infamous Jallianwala Bagh massacre of 1919, the Waking of a Nation follows a young lawyer trying to get answers from the deception and corruption of the British Colonial rule behind the events as the Hunter Commission looks into the massacre.
The series stars Taruk Raina in the lead role of lawyer Kantilal Sahani with Nikita Dutta, Sahil Mehta, Bhawsheel Singh, Carl Wharton, Richard Bhakti Klein, Jamie AlterMeenakshi Chugh, and David Michael.

The theft is the first in 25 years in the fictional village of Dhadakpur. Produced under the banner of Bombay Film Cartel, the film is directed by Sonam Nair.
