A Delhi street food vendor, selling the quintessential street food of Mumbai is actually from Indore, Madhya Pradesh. She moved to the capital city at a young age. But not much is known about her formative years or education.
The journey of Dixit may look like a tale of rags to riches from the surface but it's actually a telltale of her entrepreneurial caliber and affection for her loved ones. According to several media reports, Dixit was an employee at Haldirams but the tragedy of her son Rudra, falling sick with dengue compelled her to call it quits. She started her food cart with the ambition to contribute to the family income while keeping a close eye on her dengue-ridden son.
Her popularity on social media catapulted her rise to fame. As a popular sensation, her cart was visited by the likes of Sunny Arya, Puneet Superstar, and Nagpur's famous 'Dolly Chaiwala' Sunil Pati.
With rising popularity, she also found herself amidst some controversies. One of them was the alleged harassment by the Municipal Corporation Department demanding money from her despite her paying the fee for her cart.
As she embarks on a new journey on television with Bigg Boss OTT 3, she continues to be a beacon of hope for many small-scale business owners and an inspiration to all.
