MG Motor provides a 17.3 kWh battery pack for this vehicle, and the electric motor can produce 110Nm of torque in addition to 41bhp of power. According to the manufacturer, this vehicle can go up to 230 kilometres on a single charge. Its battery can be charged to 80% of its capacity in less than 5 hours, however a 3.3 kW charger will need over 7 hours to fully charge it.
A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto connectivity is included inside the Comet EV. The iPad was taken into consideration when designing the steering wheel's control buttons. The luxuries that make up for its interior flaws include keyless entry, electrically adjustable exterior rearview mirrors, a tilt-adjustable steering wheel, and 50:50 split-folding back seats. The company used a space-grey colour scheme to design the cabin.
