Pension Scheme: Out of several schemes launched by the government for people across sectors, the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Mandhan Yojana (PM Kisan Mandhan Scheme) is one of the schemes that has been benefiting the farmers the most. Under this scheme, the government provides farmers with a monthly stipend of Rs 3000. Any farmer between the ages of 18 and 40 can apply for the scheme and get a monthly pension of Rs 3000 or an annual pension of Rs 36000 beyond the age of 60 by making monthly contributions based on their age. The monthly payment ranges from Rs 55 to Rs 200, depending on age.
To apply for Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana, some documents are required, which include an Aadhar card, identity card, age certificate, income certificate, Khasra Khatauni of fields, bank passbook, mobile number, and passport size photo. This initiative is only available to people who own 2 hectares or less of land. It is worth mentioning that this scheme is only applicable to farmers and their wives, children do not benefit from this scheme.
