In the last year 2022, the money of Indians and Indian companies deposited in Swiss banks has decreased. It has seen a decline of 11 percent in a year, after which the amount deposited has remained 3.42 billion Swiss francs (about Rs 30,000 crore). The Central Bank of Switzerland has released these figures on Thursday. It has been revealed that the amount deposited by Indians has also registered a decline of about 34 per cent.
If you look at the data released by the Swiss National Bank (SNB) on Thursday, there is no mention of the alleged black money deposited by Indian account holders. Apart from this, deposits in Swiss banks in the name of a firm belonging to a third country have also not been included. These figures are for the year 2022, while a year before this, in the year 2021, Indian customers had kept an amount of 3.83 Swiss Francs in Swiss banks. This amount was the highest level in the last 14 years.
