Monsoon Update 2022: Rain and heavy winds have finally started taking control in many states of the country resulting in weather alerts for upcoming days. People from different states of the country have been experiencing relief from the heat thanks to the Southwest Monsoon. Reportedly Monsoon  will be able to reach most of the region by this week. While this was happening, Maharashtra witnessed heavy cloud rain, particularly in varying states including Mumbai, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Rajasthan. A warning of moderate to heavy rain has been issued by the Meteorological Department  for the upcoming days.

Rajasthan, East Gujarat, and Goa, as well as Coastal Karnataka, portions of Kerala, Sub Himalaya, West Bengal, South West Madhya Pradesh, and East Madhya Pradesh, as well as remote areas of Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, are all predicted to see light to moderate rain as per the IMD reports.


On the other side, the remaining Northeast, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep, parts of Delhi and Haryana, and Jammu and Kashmir may get light to moderate rain.


Rain has caused the weather in Delhi to turn cold, on Friday, the maximum temperature was 31.9 degrees Celsius, 5 degrees below average, and the minimum temperature was 23 degrees Celsius, also 5 degrees below average. According to the IMD, 1.9 millimetres of rain have fallen in the past nine hours. The Meteorological Department has predicted that Saturday could be cloudy with light to moderate rain.


IMD forecasts a high temperature of about 34 degrees Celsius and a low temperature of about 24 degrees Celsius. Talking about the same topic, heavy rainfall occured on Friday in Gujarat's Anand, Surat, and Rajkot, causing the deaths of 2 persons.


The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain in most areas of the state for the next four to five days, according to Skymet Weather.
