Bollywood Villains of 2024: What makes a hero a “hero” is the thrilling presence of a villain. In the presence of evil, good shines brighter. Villains are the salt of Hindi cinema making it an entertaining part of the life of its audience. The year 2024 in Bollywood has also given the audience some of its most lethal villains, hated for their brutality as villains, and loved for their skills as actors. 

Raghav Juyal as Fani

Making his debut as an antagonist Raghav Juyal amazed everyone with his performance of the menacing Fani. One of the most lethal villains of the year, Fani’s carefree manslaughter added a demonic light to his characters with no real feelings. Kamal Haasan as Supreme Yaskin 

Kamal Haasan is a force to be reckoned with in the industry. His character as the anarchist Yaskin ruling the apocalyptic world in the futuristic setting is an ever-looming threat and ambition in Kalki 2898 AD. He is revered by his loyals, and feared by all as his mission to exploit the powers of the Kalki Avatar is a dangerous pursuit followed by maintaining a monopoly on basic necessities such as air and food.  

Sunil Kumar as Sarkata 

One of the tallest, goriest, and most violent villains of Bollywood this year, Sarkata in Stree 2 essayed by Sunil Kumar. A havoc-wreaking force, Sarkata is pure evil asserting fear by abducting women. His menace is eerie for the resonating ever-present fear women feel in public spaces. 

 

Arjun Kapoor as Danger Lanka 

Singham Again established the caliber of actor Arjun Kapoor in the films. Playing the role of villain Danger Lanka, Arjun Kapoor is a brutal killer with no mercy making him a repulsive presence in the film that also makes him a threat. The film starring Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor is the fifth installment in the cop universe of Rohit Shetty’s Singham.

R. Madhavan as Vanraj 

R. Madhavan surprised everyone with his versatility as a villain in Shaitaan opposite Ajay Devgn. His character was like the dark of a haunting forest with the blend of black magic making it all the more spine-chilling. The manipulative side of Vanraj is his real weapon which he uses to weaponize the loved ones of a person to use it against them.
