MP News: A case of iPhone robbery worth Rs 11 Cr has been reported in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar district. The robbery was carried out by holding the driver hostage. On the other side, a TI and ASI have been suspended for failing to file a FIR. According to the source, the driver was transporting Apple’s iPhone in a container from Hyderabad.
According to the report, the driver was traveling from Hyderabad with a container full of Apple iPhones. On August 14, the driver left Hyderabad with the iPhones. Three guards also boarded the crate. Due to tiredness, the driver parked the truck on the side of the road and began sleeping. On August 15, the driver awoke to find his hands, legs, and mouth tied. After untying himself, the iPhones disappeared from the container. The driver promptly reported the incident to the police, but no FIR was registered. After receiving information regarding the situation, the IG visited the police station and ordered strict action against police station in-charge Bhagchand Uike and ASI Rajendra Pandey.
