Mutual Fund News: According to a report by ProTest, market exchange SEBI has taken a step in small and mid-cap funds due to high inflows. SEBI has given orders to the asset managers and fund managers of the country to share the risk associated with small-cap and mid-cap funds with their investors. Before this, SEBI had reviewed the stress test of these funds.
Apart from this, the Association of Mutual Funds in India has proposed a standardized format for risk disclosure of these funds. In the last year, the Nifty small-cap indexed at a speed of 71% in the 250 index. Meanwhile, the Nifty mid-cap indexed at a speed of 64% in the 100 index. This sudden surge of small and mid-cap has attracted many funds.
