NDMC Implements New Rules For Restaurants In New Delhi’s Khan Market

30 Jul, 2025

New Restaurant Rules:  New rules and regulations have been introduced by the NDMC for the restaurants and food shops in New Delhi's Khan Market. The rules come into effect to maintain the cleanliness of the market and improve its aesthetics with the help of standardised signboards.

Under the new policy, the shop and restaurant owners must adhere to a standard size of the signboard. While signs can span the full width of a shop, those exceeding 2.5 square meters will require a fee, as per the Delhi Outdoor Advertisement Policy 2017.
