Netflix Announces Bridgerton 3, Season For The Wallflower To Bloom; #POLIN Story Takes The Center Stage

Bridgerton Season 3: Bridgerton has amassed much love and admiration as a period drama based on the book series. Netflix announced the third season of the drama series on Instagram finally ending the wait of the fans of Penelope  Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton). 

Season 3 will premiere in 3 parts in May & June

The announcement has been made with a poster and some stills from the upcoming season, with the caption announcing the comeback of the royal ships. The third season will have  Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) at the center of the events unfolding the romance between the two friends.

Last season ended with the two introduced as friends, where Penelope has a secret crush on Colin. Their one-sided romance earned them a fanship name called #Polin.   

The poster portrayed Penelope peeing in the mirror, calling her a ‘wallflower’’ with a story that can not be missed. The poster evokes curiosity, and intrigue in what may follow in the story of the friends-to-lovers romance of #Polin. 

Photo stills give a glimpse of Kate & Anthony’s Married Life

In the previous season, Kate's (Simone Ashley) and Anthony’s (Jonathan Bailey)romance concludes with their happily ever after, which would continue in the third season with an after-marriage coziness as the photos reveal.   

The photos have also introduced Francesca Bridgerton with the rest of the photos giving a glimpse of many new and fresh characters appearing on screen, along with the main character leads of the season.  

Season 3 will be about a new and independent Penelope who is ready to not sulk about Colin hurting her feelings by refusing to court her in front of his friends. That being said, Colin after his return misses the one person who admires him, and Penelope herself is not done with her feelings for her friend.  

The series will be premiering in 2024, in two parts with the first four episodes released in Part One on May 16 and Part 2 in a month gap on June 13.
