Netflix Announces ‘The Roshans’: More Shows Based On Indian Cinema Icons Streaming On The Platform

The Roshans on Netflix:  Global streaming giant Netflix announced a documentary series based on the life and legacy of ‘the Roshans’ of Bollywood via its Instagram handle on Wednesday. 

The series will zoom into the struggles, opportunities, popularity, and role of four generations of Roshans i.e. Rakesh Roshan, Rajesh Roshan, and Hrithik Roshan in shaping the Hindi film industry. Challenges and contributions of the three would now be the story told to the world with some unspoken legends finally seeing the day of light. 

Netflix on their Instagram wrote, “A profound journey through legacy and love with the family that brought music, magic, and unforgettable moments to Hindi cinema. Watch The Roshans, coming soon, only on Netflix.”

The four-part series features archival footage and profound interviews with many celebs and is a tribute to the iconic lifetime of Yasraj Chopra. 

 

Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli 

Helmed by Raghav Khanna and Tanvi Ajinkya, Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli is a docu-series based on the ace Indian director SS Rajamouli who primarily works in Telugu cinema. The docu-series unveils the life and filmmaking process of the iconic director in a conversational format with the host Anupam Chopra. Conversations with stars like Ram Charan and James Cameron dwell on the success of Rajamaouli. 

The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives 

Shifting the lens to the forgotten gems of Bollywood, and the forces behind successful actors of Bollywood, The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives features the legendary actress Neelam, Ananya Panday’s mother Bhavana, Sanjay Kapoor’s wife Maheep and Sohail Khan’s ex-wife Seema Sajdeh. The reality show brings the life of uber-rich moms and wives to the stage with a balance of drama, emotions, and entertainment.
