Well, say no more because the popular Jenna Ortega starrer has finally kicked off its pre production phase and will start streaming on your Netflix screen sooner than you are expecting. After months of waiting Netflix finally confirmed the renewal of the second season of Wednesday in early January and since then the fans have been waiting for the further update. In a new episode, the star of the show Jenna Ortega confirmed the new plotline of the show and mentioned that the upcoming season will be far more interesting and follow a new horror route ditching the basic romance line. Wednesday Season 2
While speaking to Variety, Jenna Ortega finally opened up about the much anticipated new season of Wednesday and stated that the show's production phase is currently under so many changes. She also said that the season 2 of Wednesday might not see much Romance plotline as the first one and will majorly focus on horror elements, giving it a Gothic and edgy touch. In a statement she said “We’ve decided we want to lean into the horror aspect of the show a little bit more,” the star said. “Because it is so lighthearted, and a show like this with vampires and werewolves and superpowers, you don’t want to take yourself too seriously. We’re ditching any romantic love interest for Wednesday, which is really great.”
Wednesday Season 2 release date
Wednesday preparations Season 2 debuted at the start of the year.The programme intends to begin filming in the fall of 2023, most likely in September. So there's a chance that by the autumn of next year, Wednesday will return.
