The millions of customers of Punjab National Bank, the second-largest public sector bank in India, have been alerted to the fraudulent messages that fraudsters are spreading. These bogus messages, which pretend to be commemorating the bank's 130th anniversary, are actually attempts to steal money from consumers by impersonating the bank. PNB has responded by advising clients to exercise caution and refrain from clicking on any links or disclosing personal information without proper authorization.
