WhatsApp is the most popular messaging app, used worldwide with over 2.5 billion active users. In 2021 with some major updates and features got backlash from users and even governments. But WhatsApp is ready to introduce many changes in chatting experiences, message reactions and more.

Message reactions

Message reactions would be one of the key updates for WhatsApp. WhatsApp will now enable the ability to react to messages in chats. This feature will let you react with various emojis. there are six emoji reactions confirmed until now. You will also be able to see which user reacted to which emoji to your message.’

Android to iOS chat transfer

This is amongst the highly requested features from Whatsapp i.e. chat transfer between iOS and Android. chat history from your iPhone to Android devices can be now easily transferred. But still, there is no tool to transfer WhatsApp chats from your Android phone to an iPhone. 

More control for admins

Now, group chat admins on WhatsApp will soon be able to delete any message sent by participants of the group. If a particular message has been deleted by the group admin then everyone will be notified. Group admins will be able to use it anytime they wish to.

Sticker store

Stickers are used profusely on WhatsApp but this feature hasn’t been easily accessible on the desktop and web apps. Now, WhatsApp has added the sticker store on its desktop app’s beta version. It had also launched its own sticker maker tool for desktop and web apps.
