Now steel production will increase in India, Scindia's master stroke | Jyotiraditya Scindia

Union Minister of Steel, Civil and Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia inaugurated the biggest trade exhibition of Minerals, Metals, Mining Works and Materials sector at Pragati Maidan on Friday. Scindia said that steel production in India would be doubled by 2030. Now it is around 145 million TPA. 

This production will increase to 300 million TPA by 2030. Ministry of Steel has also set up a Single Point of Contest Project Development Cell. Under the National Steel Policy 2017, investors will be invited to invest in the steel sector in India, among various investment avenues.

The MMMM 2022 exhibition is aligned with the other five major exhibitions of ancillary industries. This trade exhibition will continue till Saturday. Industry stalwarts present at the event felt that integrated business platforms like MMMM have made the process of doing business deals more convenient than handshake networking. This opens up ample scope for policy makers to search for buyers and suppliers. Under this policy, companies upgrade themselves by identifying modern technology.

MMMM 2022 MMMM 2022 will host five other ancillary industries like Power Tools and Fasteners (HTF) for Advanced Hand Tools and Fasteners, IMEX for Advanced Machine Tools, Tech India for Engineering and Manufacturing, CWE for Advanced Cutting and Welding Equipment Done in association with ancillary industries.
