The deliveries of the new Rorr electric motorcycle were scheduled to start in the second quarter of 2022. With a sleek design and styling, this bike has been given round LED DRLs with LED headlamps, split style seats, extended rear and bifurcated grab rails for the rear passenger. Let’s take a look at its specifications.
The Oben Rorr is powered by a 10kW frame-mounted motor linked to a chain drive. It can accelerate from 0-40kmph in 3 seconds, and the claimed top speed is 100kmph. There are three modes: Eco, City and Havoc. The claimed true range in Havoc stands at 100km, whereas the City and Eco mode offer 120km and 150km respectively. The battery pack is a 4.4kWh lithium-ion unit, offering a claimed IDC (Ideal Driving Conditions) range of 200km. It takes 2 hours to charge using a 15A socket.
Oben Electric has equipped the Rorr with an all-LED lighting system, and a fully digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity. Using the latter, users can access functions including predictive maintenance, ride details, battery status, geo-fencing, geo-tagging, charging station locator, on-demand service, and roadside assistance. The e-bike also gets CBS as standard.
