OTT Releases This Week:  The new month and new week come with a list of heart-wrenching and soul-warming shows and films to keep you entertained in the first week of June. Appearing to be a promising week ahead, fresh web series like Stolen and Mercy For None, along with Bollywood releases including Jaat and Bhool Chuk Maaf, are slated to stream on popular OTT platforms from 2 to 6 June. 

Tourist Family 

Release Date: 2 June

Streaming Platform: JioHotstar

Starring M. Sasikumar, Simran, Mithun Jai Sankar, and Kamalesh, the comedy family drama is directed by Abishan Jeevinth. The film is about a family that flees from Sri Lanka to Chennai, post-pandemic economic turmoil in the foreign state. They are met with challenges that threaten their fake identities and family dynamics in Chennai. 

Stolen 

Release Date: 4 June

Streaming Platform: Prime Video 

Abhishek Banerjee spearheads the gripping crime drama with a stellar cast of Mia Maelzer, Shubham Vardhan, Harish Khanna, and Sahidur Rahaman. The film follows two brothers witnessing a child being stolen at a Railway station. As their moral compass compels them to help the child, they fall into a pit of crime.

Ginny & Georgia Season 3 

Release Date: 5 June

Streaming Platform: Netflix 

The mother-daughter duo of the Netflix show returns. This time, their bond, love, and loyalties are tested as Georgia faces the allegations of murder, and Ginni is compelled to be under house arrest.

Jaat 

Release Date: 5 June

Sunny Deol’s most anticipated release, Jaat, is set to stream on Netflix after a theatrical release. With Randeep Hooda as a nasty villain, Jaat follows a righteous and courageous man named Brigadier Baldev Pratap Singh, becoming the savior of a small town living under the terrors of Ranatunga.  

Mercy For None 

Release Date: 6 June 

Streaming Platform: Netflix 

The noir action series follows Gi-jun, who cut his own Achilles heel to leave the underworld and protect his brother. The vengeance story is his revenge for his brother's death.

Bhool Chuk Maaf 

Release Date: 6 June 

Streaming Platform: Prime Video

Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi’s comedy with a sci-fi twist is set to finally drop on OTT. This film follows a young man stuck in a time loop in one of his pre-wedding festivities, as he forgot a promise he made to Lord Shiva.
