The Storyteller

Inspired by the short story Golpo Boliye Tarini Khuro by Satyajit Ray, The Storyteller boasts of a legendary cast of Adil Hussain, Revathy, and Tannishtha. The film follows a retired press worker who is now living with his son in a new city. In his free time, he takes up the job of telling stories to an insomniac who publishes his work under his name leaving the storyteller with a sense of betrayal, and on a journey of taking what’s rightfully his.

Starring Will Ferrell, Geraldine Viswanathan, Reese Witherspoon, and Meredith Hagner, is a romantic comedy film directed by Nicholas Stoller. The film is about a sister of a bride, and the father of a bride-to-be trying to give their sister and daughter the wedding of their dreams respectively. However, chaos ensues when the two find out that their wedding venue is double-booked and they have to make it work for two weddings in a little space.

The adventurous series is a modern-day quest to uncover the lost Maratha legacy and the role of Shiledars in it.

After the mammoth success at the theaters, the Allu Arjun starrer will be streaming on Netflix this week. The film starts from where the first film Pushpa: The Rise left.
