Pahalgam Terror Attack: Following the Pahalgam attack, the Modi government has gone into action mode and is taking continuous action against Pakistan. The central government issued a 48-hour ultimatum to the Pakistani people to leave India. The leave date for short-term visa holders in Pakistan’s 12 categories ended on Sunday.
In three days, 509 Pakistani individuals, including nine diplomats, left India through the Attari-Wagah border post. During this time, 745 Indians returned home by the same process, including 14 diplomats. Pakistani nationals with a medical visa must leave India by April 29. Any Pakistani who fails to leave India within the specified time frame would be arrested and may face up to three years in jail, a maximum fine of Rs 3 lakh, or both.
