Pahalgam Terror Attack:  Following the Pahalgam incident, the relations between India and Pakistan have deteriorated. Since April 22, Pakistan has fired on Indian territory every day. Pakistani soldiers broke the ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir for the 12th consecutive day, opening fire in eight sectors adjacent to the LoC, prompting the Indian Army to retaliate the fire.

Firing in LoC Districts

Seven districts in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir are adjacent to Pakistan’s border, with cross-border gunfire taking place in five of them. The latest firing incident began in the northern districts of Kashmir valley, Kupwara and Baramulla, then proceeded south to Poonch, Rajouri, Akhnoor, and the Pargwal sector along the International Border in Jammu district.
