Pakistan Airspace Closure: In the aftermath of the deadly Pahalgam attack in India by terrorists from the Resistance Front, India implemented a five-point action plan. In answer, Pakistan banned the Indian flights from its western airspace, closing it to India. The impact of Pakistan’s airspace closure is already affecting Indian carriers, who are suffering from longer flight durations, more fuel burning, and a cost loss to the aviation industry.

Major Indian airports will now have to detour their busiest flights to longer and extended routes over the Arabian Sea. Eventually, the fares for air travel are experiencing a surge,e with costs rising to almost double the existing amount.
