Pakistan Invites Sikh Pilgrims From India To Attend Two Religious Events

India-Pakistan Tension:  Pakistan has invited Sikh pilgrims from all around the world, including India, to attend two significant religious events being held in Lahore. 

In a statement released by the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB), Pakistan has extended a welcome to Sikh pilgrims from around the world to attend the death anniversaries of Guru Arjan Dev Ji and Maharaja Ranjit Singh. 

ETPB spokesperson Ghulam Mohayuddin told PTI, “Death anniversaries of Guru Arjan Dev Ji (Jor Mela) and Maharaja Ranjit Singh will be observed on June 16 and 29, respectively, in Lahore…For both events, Sikh pilgrims from around the world, including India, are invited."

ETPB is a statutory body that manages the religious properties of Hindus and Sikhs who migrated during the partition.
