Sundar Pichai Salary: Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Alphabet, the parent firm of Google, received a massive salary of about $226 million in 2022, or more than Rs 1,854 crore.As stated in the filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Sundar Pichai received stock awards worth around $218 million as part of his pay. However, according to rumours, Sundar Pichai's pay has stayed the same for the last three years at $2 million.

Google Discontinues Free Services 

On January 20, Google CEO Sundar Pichai stated in a letter to staff that 12,000 workers, or more than 6% of the company, would be let go internationally. The internet giant Google is reportedly cutting back on complimentary lunches and exercise courses for its current employees while also implementing other cost-saving initiatives. On days with normally much lower volume, the company's micro kitchen, which offers complimentary refreshments including breakfast, espresso, and seltzer water, has been closed. In addition, the business stopped investing in personal devices like laptops, according to an internal memo.
