In Kerala, as part of the state's significant infrastructure push worth Rs. 1,500 crore, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the cornerstone of India's first Digital Science Park.
PM Modi visited Kerala for the launch of numerous projects, including Vande Bharat and the Water Metro, in addition to the Digital Science Park. In his speech, Prime Minister Modi said: "Along with physical connectivity, there is a need for digital connectivity. Projects like Digital Science Park will expand the Digital India initiative.”
On around 14 acres of land in Thiruvananthapuram's Technopark Phase IV - Technocity, the third-generation Science Park will be constructed next to Kerala's Digital University. The park will start operating from a 10,000 square foot location in Kabani within the next few months. The full project is expected to be completed in two years.
