PM Modi Third Cabinet: The state of Uttar Pradesh appears to be losing ground in the Modi Government 3.0. Apart from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there were fourteen state ministers in the Modi Government 2.0, out of which seven ministers lost the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. This time, it is expected that less than ten state ministers will be appointed to the Modi Cabinet.
In the 18th Lok Sabha elections, 33 BJP MPs and three allies won from UP. Apart from Rajnath Singh of the BJP, Jayant Chaudhary of the RLD and Anupriya Patel of the Apna Dal (S) have a high chance of becoming ministers among the NDA’s allies. Western Uttar Pradesh and the Jats will be represented by NDA ally RLD president Jayant Chaudhary, who is almost certain to be appointed to the Cabinet.
