G7 Summit: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is unlikely to be part of the G7 Summit set to be held in Canada this year from 15 June. In light of the strained ties between India and Pakistan, the country has not shown an interest in being a part of the summit, which PM Modi has been a regular invitee to for six years.
Neither Canada has extended the invitation to New Delhi yet, nor has the PM expressed any inclination in attending the summit.
The G7 summit is the summit of the most industrialised economies in the world including France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Japan, the United States, and Canada.
