Upcoming comedy series, Pop Kaun’s first teaser has been shared on Disney+ Hotstar’s Instagram, featuring comedy icons Johny Lever and Saurabh Shukla. Now, the twist is, the teaser has a similar scene from the movie Pathaan that featured Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.

Pop Kaun Teaser
The teaser begins with Johny Lever and Saurabh Shukla sitting on a bridge lane, talking about leaving comedy after practicing for 30 years and are clueless about who can replace them. Further in the teaser, they discuss several people who can replace them, who can make the audience laugh, but could not find the right guy. Yam Productions is the production house behind this project.
Johnny is seen saying, “Desh ki comedy ka sawaal hai yaar, in baccho pe nhi chodh skte hai. Hame hi kuch karna hoga.” Saurabh then asks, “Kese?” Then Johnny says, “Aise” and then the series name “Pop Kaun” pops on the screen. The caption of the clip reads, “Kursi ki peti baandh lijiye mausam bigadne nahi, comedy hone wala hai!”, which is a twisted version of Shah Rukh Khan’s famous dialogue “Apni Kursi ki peti baandh lo, mausam bigadne waala hai.”
Farhad Samji on Pop Kaun teaser
Popular screenwriter and director Farhad Samji has directed Pop Kaun. He also directed ‘Golmaal Returns’, ‘Housefull 2 and 3’, ‘Golmaal Again’. The series is full of interesting and hilarious stories for the audience. Farhad has also directed upcoming Salman Khan-starrer film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’.
