Pride 2024: Celebrity Stylist Akshay Tyagi Reflects On Self-Acceptance, Supportive People And Coming Out

Pride Month:  Akshay Tyagi is an esteemed celebrity stylist known for styling the likes of Aditya Roy Kapoor, Mouni Roy, and Babil Khan among other B-town celebs. He is also a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, sharing his love for fashion and journey of acceptance with his peers and many otters who find inspiration in him.

Coming out and self-acceptance 

Sharing his story of coming out he revealed that he came out to his parents at 31 while his brother knew and supported him since his 20s. He also underscored the importance of self-acceptance in the process, because coming out is more about accepting yourself first than the people around you accepting you, added Tyagi.
