Priyanka Chopra reveals the reason behind dropping Jonas surname; says ‘Just chill out’
Priyanka Chopra finally opened up about dropping his husband, American singer Nick Jonas, title from her name. This came after Pecee suddenly dropped both her surnames from the Instagram bio, and the matter soon became a fire as reports of her getting divorced with Nick started spreading at an unbelievable speed. Although, moments after she realized how a small action of her has created a wide range of contention on social media, she immediately dropped a lovey-dovey comment on her Nick’s post to let the fans know that they aren’t splitting. And now, after getting time from her Matrix schedule, the actress spoke to Times of India about the incident.

In an interview with the publication, Priyanka revealed how surprised she was to see such a reaction on social media, as she dropped the surname just because she wanted to keep the same surname on both Twitter and Instagram. “I don’t know! I wanted the username to match my Twitter, I guess. I just find it really amusing that everything becomes such a huge deal to people! It’s social media, guys. Just chill out!” says the actress.

Priyanka’s upcoming The Matrix Resurrections alongside Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Neil Pattrick Harris, Daniel Bernhardt and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is all set to hit the theaters today i.e on 22 December 2021. In the film she will be seen in the role of Sati, In 2003, the character first appeared as a child in The Matrix Revolutions.
