Rafale Scam: BJP replies back to Congress, 65 Crore bribe given by Dassault during 2007-2012, says Sambit Patra

The politics around Rafale fighter jet deal has once again started heating up. Where on one hand Congress is levelling allegation son the BJP government, BJP has also started giving befitting reply to Congress. Bharatiya Janata Party has said that in 2013, before the deal was cracked, bribe of Rs. 65 crore was given.

BJP's attack on Congress

National Spokesperson of BJP, Sambit Patra said that Congress party doesn’t take any step without taking commission. He added that few months earlier, a publication of France, Mediapart has exposed that commission was taken before the Rafale deal. After this came to notice,the Congress party didn’t think of anything and started blaming the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi. At that time BJP had asked everyone to wait until everything gets clear.And when today Mediapart cleared everything through an article, the truth shakes the heart. 

He said that according to the media report of Mediapart The whole bribe incident took place between 2007- 2012 and that Dassault Aviation paid Rs. 65 crore as bribe through secret commission for 36 Rafale Aircrafts

Congress' Allegations on BJP

While levelling allegations on the central government, Congress said that Rafale is country’s biggest defence scam and that the government tried to conceal the bribery in the Rafale Deal. Also, the opposition party and the Grand Old Party of the country alleged that in order to hide the corruption, the Government of India is now carrying out “Operation Cover Up”.
