Who is Rahul Mody?

Rahul Mody is a screenwriter and assistant director working in Hindi Film Industry. Born to Amod Mody, a businessman on 7 October 1990 in Mumbai. He grew up in the City of Dreams and went to the Whistling Woods International Institute to study film making. His interest in filmmaking piqued when he sneakily watched the shooting of the song ‘Marjaani’ from the film ‘Billu Barber’ featuring Shahrukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor. 

Rahul Mody Film Career 

Rahul has worked on several projects with Bollywood director Luv Ranjan. He wrote the screenplay for ‘Pyar Ka Punchnama’, ‘Pyar Ka Punchnama 2’ and ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’. Mody was collaborating with Ranjan again in 2023 for Shradhha Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor starrer when he met her for the first time. Mody was also the creative director for movies including “De De Pyaar De” in 2019 after ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ and ‘Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety’. 

Rahul and Shraddha’s Romance 

Rumor has it that their love bloomed on the sets of ‘Tu Jhooti Main Makkar’. Shraddha has recently been single again after her romance with photographer Rohan Shrestha at that time, and her friendship with Mody turned into love.

The couple was officially snapped together at the pre-wedding bash of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar. The two were then often sighted together around the city. Kapoor even became vocal about their affiliation on her Instagram where she flaunted “R” letter necklace and posted a selfie with him with a caption, “Dil rakh le, neend toh vaapis de de yaar”.
