Ram Mandir Donation: Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir is all set to open gates for darshan on 22 January 2024, and several prominent personalities are invited for the inauguration ceremony, including celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Superstar Rajnikanth, cricketers including Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, business tycoons Ratan Tata, Gautam Adani, and Mukesh Ambani. The Ram temple in Ayodhya has already received donations totaling more than Rs 5,000 crore, with devotees still making ongoing contributions, according to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Donations to the Ram temple are also coming in from devotees all over the world.
About 18 crore Ram devotees have deposited dedication funds totaling approximately Rs 3,200 crore in the accounts of the National Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, and Bank of Baroda for the construction of Ram temples, according to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The donated funds were placed in these bank accounts by the Trust, and the interest earned from them was used to build the temple in its current configuration.
