RBI Bank: P Vasudevan appointed as the new Executive Director of RBI | Jagran Business

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on 06 July 2023 appointed P. Vasudevan as the new Executive Director of RBI. Vasudevan's appointment to the executive post of RBI has come into effect from July 3, 2023. Giving this information on July 06, the Reserve Bank said in its statement that P Vasudevan will handle the Currency Management Department, Corporate Strategy and Budget Department (areas other than budget and funds) and Enforcement Department as Executive Director.

Let us tell you that before being promoted to the post of Executive Director of RBI, Vasudevan was on the post of Chief General Manager Incharge of Payment and Settlement Systems Department. P Vasudevan has been working with the Reserve Bank of India for the last three decades. Apart from this, he has also been a faculty member in the Banker's Training College. He has also worked in the Regional Offices of Bangalore, Mumbai and New Delhi.
