RCB Wins IPL 2025: In a historic win at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad, RCB lifted the IPL trophy for the first time in 18 years. Since the inception of the Indian Premier League, Virat Kohli’s long-overdue dream became a reality as Bangalore defeated Punjab by six runs. 

As RCB's final moments approached, Kohli was seen holding back his emotions till it all exploded when the victory finally walked into the field.

Anushka Sharma & Kohli’s Emotional Celebration 

As the fans and team celebrated the result of their labour and love, Kohli’s wife, actor Anushka Sharma, was ecstatic in the stands, jumping and screaming for the triumph of her husband’s team. 

Sharma was quick to sway her way from the crowd to find the man she wanted to congratulate the most, as Kohli’s searchful eyes too were twinkling to share the joy of the big win with his better half, and life partner. 

The two met in a warm, tight, and long embrace, soaking in the moments of their dream with each other's support and love. Sharma held him in a close hug, and his happy tears spoke of the evident gratitude and affection he felt for her.

Breaking the hug, she kissed Kohli tenderly on the forehead, expressing her gleeful smile that showed how she too had been waiting desperately for the IPL champions title to be named for RCB.

Kohli Tributes The Win To Anushka 

PDA is indeed the love language of the actor and the cricketer, but Kohli also included Anushka Sharma in his victory speech. 

Addressing the field after winning IPL 2025, he stated, “What your life partner does for you to be able to play, and the sacrifices, and the commitment, and just backing you through thick and thin, is something you can’t explain in words…What Anushka has gone through emotionally, watching me, being down and out, her coming to games, being so connected with Bangalore, she’s a Bangalore girl as well, and being connected to RCB, this is very, very special for her as well, and she’s going to be so, so proud.” 

Winning the IPL title as a player of RCB is indeed a significant achievement for Kohli, who, after seeing and winning it all, has been rooting desperately for a win in this format.
