Real Estate News: In the fiscal year 2023-24, women made significant property purchases in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. During this time, women accounted for approximately 38% of all property registrations in Indore, indicating an increase in ownership. The total value of properties owned by women in Indore was Rs. 5.5 billion this fiscal year. In addition, the government provided them with a loan of Rs. 94 Cr, which generated Rs. 430 Cr in revenue for the government.
During FY23-24, the city processed 1,75,950 registration documents, generating Rs. 2,415 crore in government revenue. However, the government fell short of its revenue target by Rs. 125 crore, which was Rs. 2,540 crore. In the previous fiscal year, there were 93,500 property registrations in Indore, with 34,275 being in the names of women.
