The Record of Ragnarok season 2 part 2 will be released on Netflix on July 12, 2023, and Warner Bros. Japan debuted a new trailer on Sunday at Anime Expo 2023. The first installment of Season 2 aired on Netflix on January 26, 2023, and lasted 10 episodes out of the scheduled 15. Part 2 will pick up where Episode 11 left off. The anime adaptation of Shinya Umemura, Takumi Fukui, and Ajichika's original Record of Ragnarok manga series may have had a rocky start. Still, there is now a slew of fans devoted to each of the battles between the gods and legendary heroes.
On Sunday, at the Warner Bros. Panel at Anime Expo 2023, a new trailer for the highly anticipated Record of Ragnarok season 2 part 2 was released. The trailer teases the epic struggle between Buddha, the human representation, and Zerofuku, a god of the Seven Lucky Gods, in the second installment. It plays over Minami's performance of the show's opening theme, Rude, Loose Dance.
The representation of real and legendary individuals from various cultures is what makes Record of Ragnarok appealing. Viewers tune in to watch how these renowned names will be interpreted and how their tales will be represented. However, Shiva's followers have expressed dissatisfaction with the rendition of Lord Shiva. Mr. Rajan Zed, President of the Universal Society of Hinduism, issued a statement in October 2020 requesting that Warner Bros. Japan, Coamix, and manga artists stop trivializing Lord Shiva and other Hindu deities. Along with Shiva, the play features Hindu mythological figures such as Rudra, Vishnu, and Parvati.
