Red Sea Crisis: Nine UN Personnel Taken As Hostage By Yemen Houthi Rebels

Red Sea crisis: The terror of the Houthi rebels continues in the Red Sea. Since Israel’s attack on Gaza, the Yemen Houthi rebels have attacked ships passing through the Red Sea. In a recently revealed information, the Houthi rebels have now abducted a large number of people, including nine UN employees stationed in Yemen. It is unclear under what circumstances these UN officials were kidnapped or where they are being held. 

No Statement Issued Till Now

The captured UN employees worked for the Human Rights Council, the development program, and the food program. It has been reported that the Houthis have kidnapped employees from the four provinces under their control: Amran, Hodeida, Saada, and Sanaa. The United Nations has not yet issued a statement on this incident.
