Jio introduced JioTag on Thursday in India; it is a Bluetooth tracker for gadgets and accessories that functions similarly to the Apple AirTag. It assists in tracking the object to which the tracker is linked by establishing a Bluetooth connection with the user's smartphone. On the Jio.com website, JioTag is listed for Rs 2,199, however, the tracker is now offered for Rs 749. You can place a prepaid order for the device, but the corporation also provides a cash-on-delivery alternative at specific pin codes across the nation.

Features of JioTag

According to Jio, the battery life of its tracker can last up to a whole year. It can aid in finding misplaced items, and a double tap on the tracker will make the phone ring even if it is in silent mode. The business also claims that its JioTag notifies users and offers a location if they lose their wallets, keys, or other items anywhere. The tracker has an indoor range of up to 20 meters and an outdoor range of up to 50 meters. Connectivity over Bluetooth 5.1 is supported. 

A community find feature is also available, which informs users of the item's most recent position even if the connection is lost. In the event that the JioTag is lost, it can also be tracked. One will need to do this by reporting their device as missing in the JioThings app, and the Jio Community Find feature will assist in locating it. The battery life of the JioTag, according to Jio, can last up to a whole year. It contains a CR2032 battery that is swappable.
