India has made advances towards self-sufficiency during the last few years in an array of industries. India is quickly becoming the top hub for manufacturing and healthcare in the present. The BJP-led "Make In India" campaign is progressing every day. As the nation's reliance on foreign fertilisers gradually declines, good news has surfaced for the agricultural industry as well.

India to become Aatmanirbhar in Fertilizer sector

The production of urea has risen substantially during the previous nine years by almost 60 lakh tonnes. Even with this growth, there is still a 65–80 lakh tonne yearly urea shortfall, requiring imports from other nations. By adding nanourea, an important breakthrough towards overcoming this shortfall and attaining sustainability has been made. The project seeks to manufacture a significant quantity of nanourea in the two to three years that follow, ultimately removing the requirement for imports.
