Bandish Bandits: Prime Video’s Bandish Bandits introduced the versatile talent Ritwik Bhowmik as the main lead Radhe Rathore, a strict and rules-abiding music disciple of Pandit Ji (Naseerudin Shah). He amassed acclaim and created a buzz for his freshness in looks and portrayal of a simpleton Radhe on screen. However, not much about him is known except for his role in the Prime Video series.

Born on 29 August 1992 to Rishi and Sumita Bhowmik, he comes from the Ranaghata city of West Bengal. His interest in the field of performing arts has been ardent from a young age. He has been doing live stage shows and plays from the age of 9, which also marked his career in acting. Over the years, he has been a part of 17 plays, 6 short films, and more than five web shows. Later he joined the Bridging Gaps Entertainment production house as a young talent with calibre.

Trained in dancing from Shiamak Davar Institute of Performing Arts, he went to Anupam Kher’s acting group ‘Actor Prepares’ to hone his skills as a trained actor.
Bhowmik’s on-screen acting career began in 2017, with the TVF web series Office vs Office. In 2019, he finally got his big screen debut in Bengali Drama film, Dhussar where he played the role of Shiladitya Guha.
Subsequently, he was a part of several FilterCopy Talkies videos and also worked with Netflix for a show called Gabru.
In 2020, he landed his first breakthrough role as Radhe Rathore for Amazon Prime Video’s Bandish Bandits.
He was the main lead in the 2021 series The Whistleblower.
In 2022, he also appeared in Prime Video’s anthology series, Modern Love Mumbai followed by Anand Tiwari’s film Maja Ma starring Madhuri Dixit.
In 2023, he was seen on Sony Liv’s crime thriller series, Jehanabad - Of Love & War.
